This is my updated front cover page, it now has more sell lines with multiple fonts, this now looks a lot more professional, it will look better when i have my front cover photo. I also increased the size of my masthead as my masthead looked really small in comparison to mens health and there was lots of open space left.
My updated front cover shows i have removed the banner from my front cover as i don't think its needed. Also i have now changed a lot of the fonts to make it look more professional but also more bold fonts to stand out more when the front cover image is added i think my front cover is looking a lot more promising. my biggest improvement has been getting rid of the banner and increases the size of my masthead once more and changing the font to make it dominate the page.
This is the contents page i have started for my magazine. I am keeping a continuous house style throughout therefore red, black and white are my main colours. I still need to get my images, add them in then my contents page will be close to completion.
Draft Comparison
Thus far my magazine is going well, however without the image on the front cover it looks nowhere near to completion. My sell lines look quite professional i have used multiple different fonts for my sell lines which Mens Health magazine has also done, furthermore the multiple different colours used for the sell lines has also been used by both me and Mens Health showing that so far I'm going for the proffesional look to my front cover and my sell lines are looking good. My title fills the top part of the page which is similar to the other magazine, whereas i decided to use two colours to highlight the 'Ne' part of the title to show the regionallity. Once the image is on my front cover my front cover will be near to completion and will look very professional.
I have added a lot more sell lines to my front cover, it now looks a lot more full. I have also added conventions such as bar codes and the issue number as well as the date making the front cover look more professional overall.
This is my billboard design so far, there will be an image of either one or two models to the right of the text then my billboard will be complete, as i need to keep the billboard simple but effective.
This is my double page spread progress so far. I have added 6 images along with a reasonable amount of writing, i have thought of a suitable regional title and i have kept with my colour scheme of black white and red.
This is my almost finished double page spread. It contains 4 different excersises which includes 12 different photos. I think the layout of these pages look quite good and professional and each image includes accurate information along with them. All that is left to do on my double page spread is to add the page numbers which will be done next lesson, I am very happy with this double page spread and I managed to include some regional content also.
This is the updated contents page, it contains an image i took myself and a screenshot of the front
cover to go with the subscription part, I am still unsure about the image in the top left however for now that is the image I am going for, however this page has vasty improved since last time and now
looks a lot more professional.
This is another update of my front cover, Some of the sell lines have been enlarged and moved to fill up remaining white space, I believe my front cover is now complete.
This is the beginning of my website, it has the basics on it and i have the idea for the rest i just need a few images and it will be a lot closer to being finished for now i think the basics of it looks good and it has some of the standard conventions on it.

Good comment on in house style, keep this in mind for your ancillary tasks - they all need to work together. I know you are having issues with meeting with your model, hopefully that can be achieved soon as it is having an impact on the progression of your work.
